We support our clients, such as Network Rail, to deliver major infrastructure investment projects to upgrade the network.

As pressure increases to meet challenging environmental targets, the rail industry has embraced the energy transition with ambitious plans to electrify the network. With our strong track record of electrification, most recently, on the Transpennine Route Upgrade and Core Valley Lines in Wales, we are well-placed to advise on how the industry can continue to adapt and deliver electrification at greater pace, with innovative solutions designed around the UK’s historic railways and the challenges this can pose.

Using our data and analytical capabilities, we integrate carbon reduction plans across the full lifecycle of an asset, supporting our clients’ ambitions to deliver rail services with lower emissions and make passengers’ journeys better and safer.
